Funeral Is Saturday: NELSONVILLE, May 13. - Funeral services for Charles Figgins, 48, who died of a heart attack, Wednesday evening at his home, West Washington Street, will be held at the Christian Church, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. John H. Scott will officiate and burial will be made at Greenlawn. Beside his wife and children, Paul, Alonzo, Betty, Jane and John. Mr. Figgins also leaves two sister: Mrs. Mildred Pendegrass, Chauncey, and Mrs. Gail Johnson, McKinney, Texas; and five brothers; joe, Ed, Willis, Donald and Rolland, all of Columbus.
Former Chauncey Man Dies of Heart Attack. Services Held in Nelsonville, Burial at Greenlawn,. CHAUNCEY, May 11.- Charles Figgins, who was formerly employed in the meat market of hte local company store and was a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. A.P. Figgins, Chauncey, died suddenly from a heart attack at his home in Nelsonville Wednesday night. Funeral services were held from the Nelsonville Church of Christ Saturday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. John J. Schoot and burial followed in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mr. Figgins is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude Figgins and five children. He also leaves two sisters and five brothers, Mrs. Mildred Pendergrass, Chauncey; Mrs. Gail Johnson, McKinney, Texas; and Joe, Willis, Edward, Donald and Rollie Figgins, all of Columbus. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pendergrass and family, Chauncey, were in Nelsonville, Saturday to attend the funeral.
