Figgins Rites Held: Out-of-Town Friends Atend Funeral Saturday. NELSONVILLE, May 17. - Funeral Services for Charles Figgins, 48, who died Wednesday night at his home, West Washington Street, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Fort Street Church of Christ. The pastor, the Reverend John J. Scott conducted the services. He read the hymns: "Lead Kindly Light," and "Jesus Savior Pilot Me." Burial was made at Greenlawn. Earl Barber: McArthur--Earl Barber, 78, of McArthur died Sunday in Mounth St. Mary Hospital. He was a native of Nelsonville, a son of the late Joseph and Charlotte Barber, and was a retired welder. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frances Morris of Wilmington, Calif.; a step-daughter Mrs. Diane Fontana of Buffalo; three sons, Max of McArthur, Hubert of Youngsville, Pa.; and Donald of Torrance, Calif.; a step-son, Henry Kimble, Lancaster; 18 grandchildren, three brothers, Joseph of Athens, Frank of Columbus, and Lawrence of Dayton; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Figgins, Lancater; Mrs. Ethel Colgrove, Columbus; and Mrs. Elsie Welch of Grove City. Services will be Tuesday, 1 p.m., in the Wrightsel Funeral Home, and burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Doanville. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
